I have two dogs that are seemingly on opposite ends of the spectrum. Finley is a 5 year old spayed female Catahoula Lab Pit cross. She is super reserved, especially around people, but is super excited about other dogs. She shuts down really easy, which has been a difficult factor hindering some of our training.

Atlas is a 3 year old neutered Border Collie cross (ACD, Lab, Coonhound, Husky, shepherd all in there). He's high drive, super in touch with his husky and coonhound genetics (whiny). He's eager to learn, but his motivator changes frequently and he's an adrenaline junky (loves running with bikes, motorized and non, ball, lure course, etc.). He's had a lot of issues with off leash dogs and isn't full blown reactive, but isn't a fan of unfamiliar dogs and people anymore. It's been hard to build his confidence, he seems to go over threshold quick, there's no gradual build up or indications until he's there.

I'm really trying to arm myself with as much knowledge as possible to set my dogs up for success.
