My dog actually loves his crate, goes in it when he feels like it, has zero problem if we leave, or even stay, but… as soon as we have anyone at the house and he’s crated, he will destroy any blanket or bed in there. Just the sound of someone talking and he goes wild. His crate is in my office/yoga room that I’ve cultivated into our relaxing space. Main door opened or closed, doesn’t matter, he gets his I’m MAD barking going and starts ripping things. If I empty the crate, he will attack the flooring.
