Hi all, my name is Marie and I rescued a pocket pyr last Feb. she is so sweet but very excitable and fearful. I live out in 10 acres and she’s not fearful when out walking in the woods. Actually she walks really well. But at eating time she gets so excited and runs around to her crate and back until I lock her in. If I took her somewhere, I’m pretty sure she would be very fearful. I also have 3 other dogs. Suggestions how to help her?

My silly girl and I have been working closely with a trainer ever since I added her to the family! We have plateaued a little bit and regressed, so it’s really good to go back to the basics and this has been really helpful.
This is my Ivy. She’s a 5yr old APBT. She is soooo smart! Picks up on training really well. She listens to me with many commands. My biggest hurdle is her fear with thunderstorms and lightning. She starts shaking, yawning, heavy panting, and I can’t reel her back in when it happens. I love the Tulsa training program and hope it can help me to help her overcome her fears.

Hi! Have you started working on some noise desensitization already? If so, how is it going? Happy to talk!
